What are the requirements to work as a translator with your agency?
To collaborate with our agency as a freelance translator, you must meet strict professional criteria. Our translators are qualified professionals who translate only into their native language.
We only accept specialized translators—generalist applications will be rejected. At Assertrad, we also require a minimum of five years of experience in translation or language-related services (transcription, interpretation, multilingual desktop publishing, subtitling, localization, etc.).
Do I need to provide documents to support my application?
- Proof of identity.
- Proof of full translation or interpretation qualifications (diploma, CV, and/or reference letters).
- Proof of your sworn translator status (if applicable) to be eligible for our sworn translation agency.
- Proof of business registration with the relevant commercial registry or foreign equivalent.
- For freelance translators, an attestation of compliance issued by URSSAF (or the relevant tax authority) confirming that you are up to date with your social and tax obligations.
Any translator application that fails to provide the required documents (based on profile) will not be considered for collaboration. Thank you for your understanding.
